Turn 360 degrees and Walk Away is a troll catchline that people frequently use to taunt in online discussions. It is basically used as a question-answer joke where the full joke introduces the question, “Why do they call it the Xbox 360?”. The answer will be “Because when you see it, you’ll turn 360 degrees and walk away.”
The catchphrase is deliberately meaningless as 360 degrees is a complete circle. That means, if an individual turn 360 degrees, he will ultimately face up in the same direction as before.
Some people were muddled when Microsoft revealed the name of their new console “Xbox 360” instead of the “Xbox 2.” Thus whenever anyone shows curiosity in this name, it became regular for people familiar with the troll to reply with its punchline.
This meme got the hype in 2006 when the console was released and was often used until the new next-gen Xbox One came to the market.
